MANAGING VENDOR CONTRACTS

Goals for the chapter:
Develop and implement the design for your event
Develop appropriate resources
Coordinate catering operations
Use trends in event catering
Coordinate technical resources, including lighting, sound, and special effects
Conduct and analyze the site inspection
Develop and construct the production schedule
Anticipate and resolve operational conflicts

I just skimmed this chapter. Over the summer, I had an internship with Girl Scouts. This was exactly what I did the whole time- met with caterers and props donors and made sure that everything matched and fit and ran smoothly for three of their annual events.
